FCRA Registration

Charitable Trusts, Societies, Section 8 Company that receive foreign contribution or donation from foreign sources are required to obtain registration under Section 6(1) of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010. Such a registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010 is called a FCRA registration.

Following Documents are required for FCRA Registration.

• Registration Certificate of Association.
• Memorandum of Association/Trust Deed.
• Activity Report for the Last 3 Years.
• Audited Statement of accounts for the last three years.
• Section 12A Registration Certificate
• All Trustee PAN, Aadhar & Photos
• All Trustee Mobile number & Email Id
• Cancel Cheque of Trust
• List of Main objects and definite programmes for which the contribution is to be accepted / utilised
• If the association is having any parent or sister or subsidiary organisation which is registered under the FCRA then the registration number along with Ministry of Home Affairs file number should be mentioned.

Generally, the time taken for fcra registration is four months but it could differ if the NGO has several branches.
